Important: §2 of the examination regulations of the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg stipulate that applicants are permitted only two repeat applications.

Admission requirements / Application form
Applicants must submit their high school diploma, proof of practical experience in the film and media industry and specific application documentation. The current application form can be downloaded as a PDF > Please click here.
PLEASE NOTE that, except for the Technical Directing programme, the vast majority of lessons are held in German. The application forms are therefore also in German (except for Technical Directing, where only a good command of the English language is required).
Proof of practical training submitted with applications must have been provided by production firms, TV broadcasters, film distributors and media enterprises. The Filmakademie also provides practical training, experience of which can be also listed in applications. However, this may not include practical training being carried out in the course of current film productions.
We will be happy to send you our application documentation on condition that you send us a postpaid DIN A4 envelope to the value of EUR 1.45 and indicate the program you wish to apply for.
