Daniel Bergmann

 

Daniel Bergmann hails from Prague, where he helped to establish the production company Stillking Production, now Stillking Films Group, and 20/20, and worked as a partner and executive producer on numerous commercials, music videos, shorts and films. 

Daniel is the founder and President of London-based international production company Stink. One of the first and with a global outlook, Daniel has made it Stink’s mission to find and nurture local and international talent and to work directly with the most creative people producing fresh, exciting, progressive and original projects, commercials, music videos and branded experiences. With offices in Berlin, Paris, Shanghai, Moscow, Sao Paulo, New York and Los Angeles, Stink represents an eclectic roster of directors around the world, and remains at the cutting edge of advertising production, always expanding into new creative areas and proactively looking for new challenges. 

In 2009, Daniel expanded Stink into digital and interactive, and later into branded content areas, launching Stinkdigital (now Stink Studios). Today, Stink Studios is one of the world’s most awarded creative studios with offices in London, New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Shanghai, São Paulo and Berlin, with a few more on the way.  

From products with commercial applications to bespoke tools that we utilise for our clients, our technology team has created a suite of original IP over the years. 

Stink Films and Studios are also involved in developing other formats such as VR and AR experiences, games, documentaries, short films, animation films, feature films and TV projects, and has received awards for its projects at festivals such as the Webbies, BAFTAs, Sundance and Tribeca. 

Daniel has also served on numerous juries, including Cannes Lions, D&AD, Clios, AICP, Young Director Award, and he has presided over the British Arrows and Eurobest. Daniel is also a regular participant in talks and panels at prestigious festivals and events. He also collaborates with the renowned Prague Film School FAMU. 

Selected awards: over 120 Cannes Lions and Grand Prix, over 40 D&AD, numerous BTAA and British Arrows, 27 Webbies, 89 FWAs, over 40 One Shows, 3 BAFTAs, Sundance, Tribeca FF, AICP, Shots Grand Prix, APA 50, AICP, Campaign Production Company of the Year, Best British Production Company at BTAA and AD Age Creativity Company of the Year.
