Director Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg

“There are many talented filmmakers out there. Young people with enthusiasm, creative potential and a lot of original ideas. It is vital that we provide these young talents with a platform on which they can present themselves as well as their work – the PORSCHE INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ADVERTISING FILM AWARD is exactly such a platform. Whether you are a student at a film school or a young enthusiast taking your first steps in the advertising scene, this award presents you with the perfect opportunity to show your work to the world and to establish contacts within the industry. With the award now in its thirteenth year, we look back at over a decade of successful and inspiring films and filmmakers – all made possible through the generous support of our main sponsor, Porsche AG. We are pleased to announce that this year’s competition will be held in London in cooperation with the British National Film and Television School. We are encouraging all young talents to enter the competition and to join us at the award ceremony on Thursday, 17 November 2016, when the selected films will be presented and you will be given the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with your fellow competitors and thought-leaders of the industry. We are looking forward to seeing your films!”

Nik Powell

Director National Film and Television School (NFTS)

„The NFTS is extremely delighted to have a three year cooperation with the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg to strengthen the PORSCHE INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ADVERTISING FILM AWARD and to be hosting the event in London again in 2018. This competition is the only international sponsorship award for young talents of the advertising film industry giving newcomers a representative platform to present themselves and their outstanding works to the industry and to get into contact with it. I am very much looking forward to the close collaboration between the NFTS and its partners, the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg and the Porsche AG: two outstanding film academies in cooperation with a top-class automobile manufacturer. We hope that the award ceremony in Ludwigsburg in 2017 and the ceremony in London in 2018 will encourage everyone involved to further enhance this special cooperation.“
