Born in Frankfurt am Main, Falk switched professional fields from journalism and magazine development to film and advertising when print began its decline. As a lifelong film freak he attended film school in his early 30s and began to produce small and mid-sized content films. In 2017 he focused on directing. His career jumpstarted after winning an award for best script idea by the Deutsche Werbefilm Academy for Opel. In his work as a writer and director, Falk concentrates on storytelling, strong characters and a cinematic narration. He lives and works in Hamburg.
