SAUCE Experimental Production LED Wall

To complete the work on project SAUCE, the research team of Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg has brought together some of the contributions of the project partners for an experimental production and now delivers detailed insights into the applied components. The presented virtual production environment makes use of a large-scale LED wall, motion capturing and game engines. Besides real-time camera tracking, rendering and displaying, the focus was on character animation driven by machine learning and its control with editing tools directly on set.
