Mag. (FH) & MA Stefan Randelshofer
Stefan has worked in the field of Audio and SoundDesign for TV and Movies since the end of the 90's.
Then he decided to acquire more profound knowledge about the creative and technical part of Audio and started to study MultiMediaArts at the University of Applied Sciences in Salzburg.
He holds a Magister degree in Audio and Gamedesign and a Master degree in Management.
In the mid 00's he started working on games as Sound Designer and Audio Director - i.e. EA -Battleforge, Piranha Bytes - Risen 3, Ubisoft - The Settlers Kingdom of Anteria, Assassins Creed Identity, South Park: The fractured But Whole and other games.
He is a certified Fmod- and Wwise User and Instructor and teaches Soundscape Design for Games and Game Audio at the University of Applied Sciences in Salzburg, the ETIC in Lisbon and the Filmakademie in Ludwigsburg.
He is a regular Jury Member for Best Sound at the German Developer Award and won several awards for best Sound Design and Best Music at the Telly awards, Hollywood Music in Media awards and others.
At the moment, he is the Audio Director and Head of the Audio Department at Ubisoft Blue Byte, where he and his team of Audio Designers, Sound Designers, Voice Designers and Audio Coders are working on The Settlers, Anno 1800, the Far Cry brand and various VR Games.
