To achieve them, both creative and artistic as well as organisational and economic skills and knowledge are taught. The course covers the subjects of calculation, financing, media law and employment law as well as product organisation and production processes, dramaturgy, material development, project development, pre-production, marketing and exploitation. Collaborating with the students in screenplay, direction, image composition/camera, montage/editing, film making, animation, interactive media and film music + sound design and production design is of central importance. The courses offered - Creative Producing, International Producing and Series Producing - are elements of the production degree. According to regulations, students on the project-based course should choose one of the three compulsory optional subjects. Additionally, there is the option on the project-based course to change to another department such as Animation (Animation/Effects Producing), Interactive Media (Transmedia/Games Producing) or Commercial Film (Commercial Film Producing).
