International Production

Larger and more costly film and TV projects are produced more and more frequently than international co-productions. Future-oriented producers should therefore be familiar with the opportunities, chances and risks of international financing, production and marketing structures, in order to be able to optimally establish their productions.

The compulsory elective International Production module provides an overview of these structures and processes. Participants gain an insight into production and marketing opportunities through partners based abroad. The focus is on European productions, and international case studies are assessed.

International production is an option for students of Production 3 and Production 4 (restricted number of participants), and is a one-year postgraduate course for young European producers, which is run jointly with the Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris.
