Incomings

Each winter semester, the International Class (ICLA) offers students from the Film Academy’s partner institutions a hands-on curriculum. The English language courses take place during the student’s third year, giving an insight into multiple disciplines and teaching skills in cinematic storytelling across an interdisciplinary, intercultural spectrum.

It is a studium generale in cinematic narration, open to students from all different backgrounds working with all kinds of film. The group of up to twelve students spends the winter semester at the Film Academy, with plenty of overlap with regular students at the film school. The proud goal of the International Class is to construct a sustainable network of exchange and regular students at the Film Academy.

Applications for the ICLA can only be submitted via partner institutions of the Film Academy. It is not possible to make a direct application.
