Management

Within the field of teaching, the management is responsible for, amongst others, conception, planning and putting teaching into practice, acquiring teachers, study co-ordinators and project supervisors, third-party productions, the development of media centres for graduates and entrepreneurs as well as collaboration with regional and national channels and production companies.

The administration sector covers the responsibilities, amongst others, of finance and accounting, the annual financial statement, controlling, risk management, acquisitions, legal affairs, position and personnel planning and personnel development as well as general administration and business organisation.

The technical departments provide the technical infrastructure for the administration, teaching and production at FABW.

Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris

The Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris is an independent unit within the administrative structure of FABW.

AStA

The Student's Union Executive Committee is elected at the beginning of each academic year by all members of Filmakademie's student body. The AStA is representing all matters of interest of the students of Filmakademie, within the institution and outside of the institution. Furthermore, the AStA serves the student body of the Filmakademie by offering consulting and support to the students.

Staff Association

As a part of the organizational structure of FABW, the Staff Association is mandating all matters concerning the interest of the staff members within the institution.

 

Development Association

The "Förderverein der Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg e.V." was founded in 1993, and by now it has more than 300 members. The association is an acknowledged non-profit organization, aiming in its constitution to support extraordinary merits of FABW's students.
