Creative Series Producing (CSP) is a new study programme at FABW.

CSP provides comprehensive insights into the creative and production work of creative producers, showrunners, development executives and series producers who operate at the interface between storytelling, innovation and production reality.

At its core is the conviction that outstanding series arise from a deep emotional connection between the respective creatives and the material: it requires a deep understanding of psychologically complex characters, the ability to tell universal truths in serial structures, and a personal attitude that answers the question of why a story needs to be told right now. Students learn to master series dramaturgy, lead writers' rooms and maintain an authentic creative vision across all phases of production.

At the same time, CSP prepares students for a future in which artificial intelligence is part of everyday work: as a tool that can accelerate creative processes, enable new forms of storytelling and make productions possible that previously seemed impossible. From AI-supported market analysis and the use of AI tools in character development to the creation of innovative pitch and presentation formats, students learn the targeted, reflective use of modern technologies – always in the service of the story, never as an end in itself.
